Doc Jay Hughes is about to live out Dream as an Author

Jay Hughes, "Doc", to the people that he works around is setting out on a the lovely journal of writing a novel.

The award winning TV writer and journalist best known for his work in shorts and Playboy Magazine, has decided to write a book Hughes mentioned in a new article featuring him and Kanye West on a Hip Hop web site, 808sandBootlegs.

Jay stated in the interview that he was writing a modern day Mark Twain tale that will be written in today's lingo using slang and even texting format. The book will have a hip hop twist.

The basis of his book wasn't the subject of the convo, but we are really interested in reading the book after only hearing the title, "Remembering Nights I Don't Remember Nights".

Jay is a southern Indiana native who currently lives in Miami, Florida.

The article also mentioned his works with CSI: Miami, ER, Flava of Love, and LL Cool J now doing Television.
